Naci&oacute; en la Bohemia central, aunque de joven se traslad&oacute; a Praga. All&iacute; se cas&oacute; con Carel Dodal, considerado el padre de la animaci&oacute;n checa. Colaboraron e muchos v&iacute;deos publicitarios. La T&yacute;rlov&aacute; realiz&oacute; en torno a sesenta cortos, entre ellos destaca &nbsp;<em><strong>La revoluci&oacute;n de los juguetes<\/strong><\/em> (1946), en colaboraci&oacute;n con <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Karel_Zeman\">Karel Zeman<\/a>,&nbsp;donde combinan animaci&oacute;n con imagen real. El filme recibi&oacute; el premio a la mejor pel&iacute;cula infantil en el Festival de Venecia.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" gesture=\"media\" height=\"235\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jprRM2cmc2s\" width=\"450\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Y este otro, <em><strong>Sue&ntilde;o de Navidad<\/strong><\/em>, lo animaron, dirigieron y produjeron tambi&eacute;n al alim&oacute;n Zeman&nbsp;y T&yacute;rlov&aacute; en 1943. &nbsp;Junto con <strong>Jir&iacute; Trnka<\/strong>, Karel Zeman es uno de los fundadores del cine checo de animaci&oacute;n.
